Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, country-pop musician and songwriter after she appeared in the show One Tree Hill. She played Alex over its last three seasons. In the series' episodes the singer performed her country debut albums. Her album called "Jana" made it to the Billboard 200 top 20 in 2012. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to the Top Ten. When she finished the decade the show, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars along with TV movies. While she later went on to record the album, her first ever professional appearance was on the independent horror film Dead/Undead in 2002 while she was still in high school. After guest roles for All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed a recurring role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season, 2007-2008. Kramer played Portia in 90210's 2008-2009 season as well as Brooke on Entourage 2009. She then was Alex Dupre in CW One Tree Hill. She had signed a deal with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country song I Won't Give up in a One Tree Hill episode in 2011. She was still appearing in movies like Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would appeal to her fans. Kramer has released her second studio album, Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. With help from The Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of 3 on the national albums chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. Beginning in September 2016 her two month stint on 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. The same year, she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song with the song "Feels Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
